Our February Meeting with the CCNC Garden Club

What a beautiful day and a gracious setting for our winter joint meeting with the ladies of the CCNC Garden Club.   We had a wonderful program presented by Audrey Moriarty of the Given Library on the Women of Pinehurst  who have made a difference in our community over time .  The lunch following the presentation was made extra special thanks to the lovely table settings and the gorgeous tulip magnolia sitting just outside the ballroom in full bloom!

Each table was graced with a colorful tulip centerpiece in different blue and white containers

We start the New Year with our Joint Meeting with Southern Pines Garden Club

January saw our Club gather for our annual joint meeting with the Southern Pines Garden Club at the Weymouth Center in Southern Pines.   Our event began with wonderful treats and coffee provided by both clubs.  Our joint program was a fascinating presentation by Deedee Dalrymple on “Effortless Entertaining”.    Her program focused on how to “open your home, open your heart and give the gift of hospitality.

The gorgeous centerpiece set the tone for the lovely refreshments. We’d all love to entertain with a centerpiece like this one!
