Our October trip to StarWorks was cancelled due to a Covid outbreak at the glass works! However, our November 9th open meeting featuring Cameron Sadler, Master of Foxhounds was held at Weymouth Center

Isn’t this gorgeous! It tasted delicious as well !

Lots of creativity for this fall feast

Our speaker, Cameron Sadler, shared everything we knew about riding to the hounds, a long-time Sandhills tradition.

September 14, 2022 A New Year for the Club Begins

Victoria Adkins began her presidency with an excellent progra, presented by Janet Peele, on home remedies for the gardener. We learned new (and some old) tricks. We gathered at the Ball Center and had a very good turnout.

Hostesses Anne Howell, Debbie Lalor, Jane Lewis and Thea Pitassy greeted our members with a lovely display of refreshments! Thanks ladies!

Anne and Karen shared a laugh!

Victoria welcomed our presenter Janet Peele, former owner of Aberdeen Florist and Garden Center

New Member Marie Carbrey joined Rita and Ann-Boyd… They were still in “summer” colors and how bright they look!

Meredith and Jan looked summery too!

May 11th, 2022 – President’s Meeting

We celebrated the end of the year at the Weymouth Center with a festive spring brunch and champagne and had an interesting program on Forest Bathing. To get the full effect of the program, we opened all the windows and doors and communed with Nature!

It was also a time of change… Pat Welch hosted the brunch and used the opportunity to thank the members of her Board of Directors for their contributions and hard work. We kept our Club intact and active throughout the Pandemic…something we are very proud of, since many of the local clubs didn’t meet for an extended period. Pat then introduced Victoria Adkins, incoming President and she and her board were sworn in. Congratulations to all!

A festive brunch with a spring theme was enjoyed by Alice, Nancy, Martha and Jan!

Char was passing the champagne to Hartley, Linda and Elaine
