You’ve got to be Proud – Weymouth House

Our Club showed up big with our outdoor decor for this year’s Christmas House as always. Under the leadership of Hartley Phipps, our Club designs were spectacular. Tracye Reiling and her husband created a sweet Christmas wonderland, joined by volunteers Lynda Moegling, Thea Pitassy, Jan Leitschuh, Ann-Boyd Newman and Pat Welch. Our design encompassed the side of the house adjacent to the porch – two windows, a door and the courtyard adjacent. Our theme was The Kingdom of Sweet Dreams, and Tracye’s creativity clearly shone! Thank her for making us proud when next you see her…

Isn’t this special… we were still under construction but looking good!
Our jaunty bear became a real magnet for the children
Our gingerbread men were another star attraction!
Both of our windows created by Thea and Linda and Hartley and Tracey were creative and fun

This adorable deer was between our area and the cookies & hot chocolate
Hartley’s tree ended up being “most photographed”!

Welcome New Members!

We were thrilled to welcome four new members to the Garden Club of the Sandhills at Pinehurst Country Club. Our Membership Committee has wanted to do this for the last 18 months, but Pandemic restrictions didn’t make it possible. Now, however, we were able to honor these special new Active Members – Amy, Elizabeth, Dianne, and Lynda! They’re sure to bring a lot to the Club… in fact they’re already beginning to be involved in Committees!

Happy Fall – September 2021

We were extremely fortunate to be back together at Weymouth House for our first meeting of the new year. Our hostesses, Sharon, Ann Boyd, and Dolores gave us a beautiful display of delicious morning treats, and we had the honor of a great presentation by Chef/Patissiere Scott Hasemeir of Form V Chocolates. It was a great learning experience and was oh, so tasty!
