Hartley Fitts displayed a holiday buffet table topped with family dishes and a sleigh filled with roses and carnations for the Moore County Extension and Community Association’s Creative Christmas Tables Fundraiser held at Little River Resort on December 7th, 2010.

The wreath with hanging rose ball was also designed by Hartley Fitts and was displayed as well at the Weymouth Center Christmas House December 1-4, 2010.

Over the years, members of The Garden Club of the Sandhills have decorated a room at Weymouth as part of “Christmas at Weymouth.” This year, Ann-Boyd Newman chaired this project and Marilyn Grube, Cav Peterson and Jane Hurst participated in decorating a small bedroom in the Weymouth house.

Weymouth will be holding a gala on Wed., December 1st followed by special tours this Thursday-Saturday December 2nd-4th.  Please enjoy these photos of “holiday beautification” inspired by our talented members!

In November, the Garden Club of the Sandhills members hosted a Chinese Auction Fundraiser. Thanks to Nancy Smith & Cav Peterson and their committee for all the hard work on this “fun, non-fundraising fundraiser.”
