The 2018 Magical Mystery Tour Rocked!

Just when you thought that the 2016 Magic Mystery Tour the best ever, the 2017 tour queens Patti Fisher and Elaine Porzio went over the top with a private champagne and crumpet showing of the spectacular A.C.W.R. Vintage Train. Then off to hear beautiful Christmas music and enjoy the delectable food prepared for us at Forest Creek Club, all the while surrounded by great holiday decorations. Then as if this were not enough, there was more, filled with Christmas cookies and cookies and cookies and wonderful coffees in a fabulous setting! Thanks to the two ladies who made this year’s Magic Mystery Tour the greatest ever !

November meeting featured Larry Best & the Arboretum

International Landscape Architect, Larry Best, has been a tremendous boon to Pinehurst from the inception of the Arboretum.  The November program featured Larry’s overview of the planning, development and innovation involved as one of the Village’s most prized features was first imagined and then created.   The evolution of this treasure was a fascinating journey and we were reminded that the Garden Club of the Sandhills has been involved and supportive from the very beginning.
